Warhol has gone and Picasso has been packed away. Optimism at the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) gave way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art New York at the Queensland Art Gallery (QAG). A retrospective by fashion designers Easton Pearson also generated much interest. The 6th Asia Pacific Triennial (APT) is currently being installed and will open early December. Flowertrap is the preferred supplier to the Art Gallery and the Gallery of Modern Art and provide a distinctive look for them on a weekly basis. The international jewellery icon launched its Brisbane store with an exclusive dinner for 50 guests at GoMA – The Gallery of Modern Art. The opening featured in the August 08 edition of Gourmet Traveller – exquisite food was provided by Caxton Street Catering and FlowerTrap designed orange tulip arrangements reflecting the vibrant colours of precious gem stones. Guests were seated at one long table divided in half by the orange tulips.
